Summex launches action against Farallon

Vancouver-based Summex Mines (SXM-V) has launched a lawsuit in a Mexican court for control of the Campo Morado and Alina concessions in that country’s Guerrero state.

The properties are currently held by Farallon Resources (FAR-V). Summex is seeking to have the option agreement between Farallon and privately owned Minera Summit declared void. Farallon signed the deal for the concession in October 1995 with Mexican lawyer Pedro Villagran, a controlling shareholder of Minera Summit.

Summex, on the other hand, claims it had reached a previous understanding with David Hermiston, a Vancouver-based prospector, to acquire the properties.
