Drilling at Tectonic Metals’ (TSXV: TECT; US-OTC: TETOF) Flat project in southwest Alaska has identified significant high-grade gold mineralization near surface at the Alpha Bowl and Adit Main targets, suggesting both could be starter pits in the future.

Highlight hole CMR26-170 at Alpha Bowl cut 80.7 metres grading 1.86 grams gold per tonne from surface, including 59.4 metres at 2.41 grams gold and 10.6 metres grading 11.82 grams gold, Tectonic reported Thursday.

In the Adit zone, hole CMR26-163 cut 42.6 metres grading 1.52 grams gold from 134.1 metres depth, including 13.7 metres at 3.84 grams gold. Alpha Bowl and Adit are two exploration zones within Chicken Mountain, one of six kilometre-scale targets at Flat.

Project’s emerging scale

“What continues to excite us is the scale emerging at Chicken Mountain,” Tectonic Co-Founder and CEO Tony Reda said in a release, explaining that Alpha Bowl itself is about 820 metres along strike, up to 600 metres in width and has been drill-tested to more than 300 metres of vertical depth.

“Together with Adit and other mineralized zones, the results continue to demonstrate the potential for a large-scale gold system with multiple higher-grade centres.”

The results come as Tectonic works to establish its first resource at Chicken Mountain, the most advanced of six large targets at Flat. The company aims to publish the estimate in early 2027, followed by a preliminary economic assessment in the second quarter of next year.

Chicken Mountain’s mineralized footprint is 3.3 km long and up to 700 metres wide. It has been tested to a vertical depth of 300 metres.

Tectonic shares gained almost 1% to $1.67 apiece on Thursday morning in Toronto, valuing the company at $228.7 million. The stock has traded in a 12-month range of 80¢ to $3.58.

Surface gold intervals

Another highlight from Adit includes hole CMR26-160, which cut 73.1 metres grading 0.9 gram gold from surface, including 21.3 metres at 2.14 grams gold and 4.5 metres grading 6.97 grams gold.

Hole CMR26-162, also at Adit, returned 19.8 metres grading 1.06 grams gold from 71.6 metres depth, including 10.6 metres at 1.71 grams gold.

Tectonic has finished more than 29,000 metres of drilling this year to advance resource delineation and expansion at Chicken Mountain. Drilling is expected to continue until the end of October.

Flat is about 470 km northwest of Anchorage.
