Trenching and sampling are continuing at the CHOCO-6 property in Venezuela’s El Callao district.
Trenching by Gold Vessel Resources (ASE) at both the Cerro Azul and Camp zones has outlined two subparallel mineralized zones. At Cerro Azul, the mineralized areas appear to represent a southward bifurcation into two features separated by up to 45 metres. Within the Camp zone, the areas are part of a single feature separated by an area of poor values. Averages from several trenches along these two zones are as follow: Zone Strike Width Grade
Length (m) (m) g/t
Cerro
Azul A 590 22 2.2
Cerro
Azul B 680 18.7 1.2
Camp
Zone A 770 13.6 1.0
Camp
Zone B 520 12 0.5
More trenching is planned for both zones before drilling begins in October.
