Fountain Lk. drills on Boundary zone

A drill program is under way on the Fountain Lake project located 75 miles west of Thunder Bay, Ont. The project is a joint venture involving International Maple Leaf Resource Corp. (VSE) and Tamavack Resources (VSE), two juniors in the Prime Capital fold.

The companies say the 8,000-ft drill program will focus on the Boundary zone which has been traced by gold geochemistry and IP surveys for 3,600 ft on the property, and which is still open along strike to the southwest and at depth.

Assay results previously reported from the zone include a 15- ft intersection grading 0.986 oz gold per ton and 4.9 ft grading 1.60 oz 200 ft along strike to the northwest.

Maple Leaf and Tamavack have contracted with Prime Explorations to provide management and consulting services on the project. Additional IP surveys will also be conducted to further delineate drill targets within the Boundary zone along strike from the area of drill discoveries.
