Lithos pours first gold brick

Processed material from the Bourlamaque-Nord project of Lithos (ME) near Val d’Or, Que., contained gold, silver and a strong percentage of copper.

The company says there is now the possibility of producing a copper concentrate as a supplement.

A 6,883-ton sample from three stopes nearest to the ramp in the East zone, as well as all development ore and other material extracted by the previous owner, was shipped to the nearby Aurbel mill for processing.

Lithos rehabilitated the workings of the property, known formerly as the Wrightbar mine, earlier this year.

Subject to the closing of $500,000 financing, Lithos is planning operations in three stopes in the East zone. Restoration of the West zone is under way.
