INSIDER TRADING — Kinross directors complete transactions

Two directors of Kinross Gold (VSE) completed share transactions in January and February.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, director John Brough was granted 100,000 options at $4.30, exercised 30,000 options at $4.30, and sold 30,000 shares at $6.375 to hold zero shares and 70,000 options.

Director David Rovig sold 17,000 shares at US$4.75 to hold 374,850 shares. Other transactions include:

Blue Emerald Resources (VSE) — Richard Nemis, director and senior officer, exercised 175,000 options at 15 cents and sold 50,000 shares at 3 cents to hold 824,536 shares and zero options.

Channel Resources (TSE) — William Rand, director, exercised 75,000 options at 35 cents, and sold 97,326 shares at 30 cents-$1.50 to hold no shares and no options.

Greater Lenora Resources (TSE) — Robert Kasner, director and senior officer, sold 14,000 shares at $2-2.20 to hold 307,778 shares.

Orvana Minerals (TSE) — Henry Reimer, director, sold 10,000 shares at $4.35 to hold 25,000 shares.
