Aurizon uncovers new vein structure

New structures have also been discovered, including vein 20. Located within a previously unexplored sector of the property, the vein is a north-south striking, 45 degrees east-dipping structure with a drill-indicated strike length of 150 m.

The company says drill-indicated reserves (all classes and undiluted) for the vein stand at 30,000 tonnes averaging 6.92 g gold per tonne (true width and cut) over 1.5 m. The structure is open in all directions.

Development has reached vein 20, the company says, and sampling from the first 25 m of drifting has proved up a grade of 9.9 g (true width and cut) over 1.5 m.
