Toronto-based TNK Resources (TNKR-C) has drilled into two kimberlite pipes on its wholly owned Gope prospect in the Kaapvaal craton of central Botswana.
The company drilled two holes, spaced 50 metres apart, into pipe 173-North and intersected kimberlite at a depth of 60 metres. It also drilled into pipe 211, situated 1.7 km south of the previous holes. Results from the indicator mineral analysis and microdiamond-Testing are pending.
A 1-Tonne bulk sampling of both pipes will be followed by additional drilling and airborne geophysics.
