It’s Diamond Fields’ project, and it’s Voisey’s Bay.
The first printed record of the most famous bay in Labrador was in 1909, when George Voisey referred to it as Voisey’s Bay in an oath transcribed in a Privy Council document. Nevertheless, the Canada Gazateer Atlas went with Voisey, as did Diamond Fields, and thus, The Northern Miner. Diamond Fields has since switched to the original spelling, and we shall hereafter follow suit.
