A Canadian mining delegation will be heading off to northern Vietnam this fall to investigate investment opportunities and learn more about the country’s mineral potential, mining industry and new mining laws.
The tour is being organized by mining engineer Ronald Stokes and Dirk Tempelman-Kluit, director of the western division of the Geological Survey of Canada. The group will be small, 16-20, and by invitation from a cross-section of the mining industry.
Vietnam, emerging from 45 years of political and economic isolation, is considered to have untapped mineral potential.
