Calgary-based Trevco Oil & Gas (ASE) has commissioned Minroc Management of Toronto, and J.S. Redpath Mining Consultants of North Bay, Ont., to provide an estimate of total costs to remove, ship and process a 10,000-ton bulk sample of gold-silver-copper mineralization from the company’s mining concession in Jamaica. The Trevco concession covers about 14.2 square miles on a geological formation known as the Central Inlier of Jamaica. The company is conducting exploration activity to evaluate levels of mineralization on the concession and expects to complete an initial report sometime next month.
