Tonnage potential at Quet

Initial drilling results from the Quet property, 90 km northeast of Vancouver, returned wide intersects of low-grade gold. Noranda (TSE) is earning a 60% interest in the property from Aranlee Resources (VSE) by spending a total of $4.05 million over four years. The drilling is designed to test a mineralized and altered felsic tuff measuring 1,500×100 metres. Aranlee said the results indicate the potential for a large-tonnage low- grade gold deposit.

Results from the first three holes of the program are as follows; Gold Interval Width (grams/ Hole (metres) (metres) tonne) NQ 90-10211,0000 no significant assays* NQ 90-2 75.9-192.2 116.3 0.59 NQ 90-3 34.2-59.4 25.2 0.77 *hole was drilled to test a secondary target
