Several surface gold anomalies have been identified by Teeshin Resources on the company’s Sherlock Point claim group near Shoal Lake, Ont. The claims are east of the St. Joe Canada property on which a gold discovery has been made (N.M., Nov 30/87).
The 108-claim Teeshin property covers a shear zone which hosts several gold showings. On one section, a wide geochemical anomaly ranging from 50 parts per billion (ppb) gold to 3,000 ppb has been outlined. (1,000 ppb is equal to one gram of gold).
Teeshin’s property is located on the eastern edge of the Canoe Lake stock, along a shear zone striking parallel to another zone which controls the St. Joe and Consolidated Professor gold deposits by Shoal Lake.
