This luncheon will take place on Wednesday March 8. Mark Bristow, chief executive of Randgold Resources, will address the topic “New Gold Supply — The influence of risks, technology and politics.” A geologist with more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry, Bristow was appointed a director of Randgold Resources in August 1995 and chief executive two months later. Since then, he has been instrumental in turning the company’s focus to gold. Bristow has played a significant role in encouraging the emergence of the mining sector in sub-Sahara West Africa. Randgold Resources has found and developed world-class assets, commissioned two mines in the previous five years, and built a strong investor following.
Tickets are $50 each and may be purchased online at www.pdac.ca.
