Platinova, Pegasus in property deal

An agreement has been entered into by Platinova Resources (TSE) with Pegasus Gold (TSE) concerning the former’s Skaergaard gold-palladium project in east Greenland.

Pegasus will carry out a conceptual feasibility study this year. Upon the study’s completion, Pegasus will have the right to earn a 51% interest in the project by delivering a bankable feasibility study to Platinova. Initial work will include a 10,000-metre drilling program.

Pegasus is being given five years to complete its earn-in; however, Platinova may accelerate the program if it feels economic conditions justify such action.

The Skaergaard project lies within 15 km of a gold-platinum discovery being drill-tested by Platinova and RTZ Mining & Exploration.
