Patricia keeps drilling targets at Island Gold

Patricia Mines (PAT-V) has announced additional drill results from its Island Gold property, northeast of Wawa in north-central Ontario.

The company recently collared four holes drilled into what is believed to be an extension of the 21 zone, plus another eight infill holes on the Lochalsh deposit.

Of the three assays received from the 21 zone, the best result is 1.2 metres (from 203.5 to 204.7 metres) grading 2.81 grams gold per tonne in hole 23.

Of the three assays received from the Lochalsh deposit, the best are: 3 metres (from 223 to 226 metres) of 5.21 grams gold and 1 metre (from 383.3 to 384.3 metres) of 11.03 grams gold in hole 26; and 3.1 metres (from 214.7 to 217.8 metres) of 16.13 grams gold in hole 32.

Three more holes are being completed, and an independent resource calculation and assessment are being prepared.
