OBITUARY — Raymond Collin

Raymond Collin, a prolific prospector from northern Ontario, has died. He was 52.

A native of Timmins, Ont., Collin’s prospecting career began when he was still a teenager. Over his 35-year career, he prospected throughout northern Ontario as well in Quebec. He worked with such major companies as Teck, Falconbridge and Hollinger Mines.

Collin is survived by son Denis, daughter Christine and three grandchildren.
