New zone uncovered at Jualin project

Winter drilling on the Jualin property located near Juneau, Alaska, has identified a new zone of intensely silicified, pyritic, quartz veined stockwork diorite containing sphalerite and free gold. Placer Dome U.S., a unit of Placer Dome (TSE), is earning a 50% interest in the property from International Curator Resources (VSE).

Preliminary drill results over a strike length of 800 ft. returned the following results: 450 ft. grading 0.032 oz. gold per ton; 72 ft. of 0.048 oz. gold; 62 ft. of 0.061 oz. gold; and 110 ft. of 0.117 oz. gold.

Placer U.S., the operator, plans to conduct a geophysical survey to trace the zone on surface and has started an additional 6,000 ft. of drilling.
