Minefinders drills Bolsa oxide zone

Drilling at Minefinders’ (VSE) Bolsa property in Mexico’s Sonora state is testing a near-surface, highly oxidized zone of gold-silver mineralization.

Mineralization has been tested over a strike length of 1,700 ft. and a width of more than 700 ft. The program is expected to be complete by the end of February.

Drill results are as follows: 120 ft. grading 0.044 oz. gold and 0.95 oz. silver per ton for hole 96-21; 30 ft. of 0.068 oz. gold at a depth of 10-40 ft. and 55 ft. of 0.076 oz. gold at 180-235 ft. for hole 96-19; 70 ft. of 0.047 oz. gold and 0.67 oz. silver at 0-70 ft. for hole 96-20.
