LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Fleck seeking drill permits

Fleck Resources (VSE) is applying for drill permits for its 92-claim block immediately west of Diamond Fields’ Voisey Bay claim block in Labrador.

The company has identified three magnetite-bearing gossanous zones that are coincident with electromagnetic and magnetic anomalies. Each of the zones is 1 km long and up to 30 metres wide, with anomalous geochemical copper and nickel values.

Fleck has also applied for a drill permit for the Snegamook claims in the nearby Harp Lake area. Airborne geophysics outlined an electromagnetic anomaly measuring 2,500 by 500 metres, and chip sampling from an outcrop within the anomaly returned values of 2.97% to 10% copper. Anvil Resources (ASE) can earn a half interest in the Snegamook claim block.
