Hope Brook find

A new gold discovery has been made by Hope Brook Gold near the company’s gold mine in southern Newfoundland. Drilling 1,000 m west of the mine has encountered a mineralized zone at a depth of 400 m.

Some of the better intersections include 5.6 m grading 6.98 g gold per tonne (0.2 oz gold per ton) and 11 m grading 4.76 g (0.138 oz). The zone, which is almost vertical, has a true width of 2.5-6 m, Hope Brook says. Additional definition drilling is in progress, the company says.
