Exploration equipment has arrived at Franc-Or Resources’ (ME) Sophie-Saul gold property in central French Guiana.
The property is underlain by a 50-km-long shear zone which separates the Paramaca greenstone terrain from Precambrian granitic intrusives. Gold mineralization has been identified over the entire length of the shear zone, and nine bulk-tonnage targets have been outlined.
Drilling is to start in about two weeks.
