Eskay drill results confirm grades

The latest drill results from the Eskay Creek project north of Stewart, B.C., include more impressive high-grade gold and silver assays from the 21B deposit where operator Calpine Resources (VSE) is carrying out both infill and stepout drilling with six rigs. Calpine, which is being merged with Prime Resources Group (VSE), owns 50% of the Eskay Creek project. Partner Stikine Resources (TSE) holds the remaining interest.

Infill drilling is currently confined to the 21B deposit within the bounds of the probable and possible geological reserve of 1.5 million tons grading 1.43 oz. gold per ton, 40.26 oz. silver, 2.1% lead and 5.08% zinc. The stepout drilling represents drill holes beyond this reserve, with the work aimed at further delineating the dimensions of the 21B deposit along strike and at depth.

The best result from stepout drilling came from hole 90-327 drilled at 10+00N which returned 39.4 ft. of 0.65 oz. gold and 32.06 oz. silver, including 13.1 ft. of 1.27 oz. gold and 288.63 oz. silver. Ten stepout holes returned no significant results.
