Citadel finds new zones in Jamaica

Grab samples from an old trench on the Job’s Hill property in Jamaica have returned assays of up to 8.9% copper, 0.14% molybdenum, 0.12 oz. gold per ton and 2.2 oz. silver for Citadel Gold Mines (TSE).

Other samples, collected from stream gullies in the southern portion of the licence area, assayed up to 4.8% copper with anomalous gold values. Following the resignation of Linda Bloom, Craig Baxter has taken over as president of Citadel. Bloom, who is heading down to Jamaica to follow up the new occurrences, will continue to manage the company’s exploration projects.
