Two holes in the current 20,000-ft drill program were drilled to test for sulphide mineralization in lens one and two above the 1640-ft level and along strike.
Hole 41 intersected a 1-ft section in the hangingwall lens which assayed 13.8% zinc and minor amounts of copper and precious metals. Another 98.1-ft section within lens two assayed 6.5% zinc, 0.12% copper and 0.48 oz silver per ton. The same hole also cut 15.4 ft in a copper stringer zone which assayed 2% copper.
Hole 47 returned 13.8 ft in lens one grading 6.8% zinc and 0.6 oz silver. Copper assayed 0.81%. The hole also intersected 11.8 ft in lens two which graded 9.9% zinc and 0.15% copper. A copper stringer zone associated with lens two was 59 ft wide and assayed 0.79% copper.
Reserves in lens two have been estimated by Cameco to total 7.8 million tons grading 6.4% zinc, 1.1% copper, 0.8 oz silver and 0.02 oz gold. Cameco and Trimin hold a 67.1% and 32.9% interest in the project respectively.
