Black Gregor intersects mineralized structure on Hemlo gold

A mineralized structure has been identified over a strike length of at least 1.3 miles on Black Gregor Explorations’ (COATS) gold property near Marathon, Ont. At the completion of their latest 32-hole program, Black Gregor had identified four separate gold sections along the main break, and another zone 1/2 mile to the west. Mineralization along the main structure remains open to the north.

Black Gregor used widely spaced drilling to test geochemical and geophysical anomalies occurring on the break. Several holes intersected mineralized widths of up to 65 ft., including one hole with two 7-ft. sections grading 0.22 oz. and 0.24 oz. gold per ton respectively.

Near the south end of the main structure, several shallow holes tested a near-surface zone with intersections of up to 66 ft. grading 0.06 oz. gold. This zone has strike length of about 1,000 ft. and shows open pit mining potential.
