Beauchamps cuts copper-gold values

The first hole (92-1) of a program at the Sustut project 30 miles south of the Kemess area in British Columbia cut 121 ft. (from 43 ft. to 164 ft.) grading 0.6% copper and 0.025 oz. gold per ton, including a 65-ft. section assaying 0.78% copper and 0.037 oz. gold, Beauchamps Exploration (VSE) reports.

Further down the hole, an 11-ft. interval ran 1.02% copper and 0.05 oz. gold. The copper-gold zone is open to the east and west, it says. Beauchamps’ partner in the project is Skeena Resources (VSE). Each has a 50% interest; a revised agreement will allow Beauchamps to increase its interest to 75% by spending an additional $200,000 on exploration work by Dec. 31, 1993.
