YGC properties eyed by major (March 30, 1992)

An undisclosed major mining company is negotiating with YGC Resources (VSE) to option five base metal properties wholly owned by the junior.

The properties, accessible by road, are located west of Dawson City, Yukon. The major company has proposed an exploration program consisting of geophysical surveys and diamond drilling to start in June.

In a separate development, YGC was recently notified that Cominco (TSE) will continue its option on the Wolf-Lynx volcanogenic massive sulphide property in southeast Yukon.

Cominco is reported to be planning further exploration of the property. The program would consist of airborne geophysical surveys followed by ground geophysics and diamond drilling.
