WAMIC fashion show a big success

The first fashion show ever held at Toronto’s Skydome took place at Windows restaurant recently. This show was part of the Women’s program of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada’s annual convention and was organized by the Toronto branch of the Women’s Association of the Mining Industry of Canada. Fashions from the spring and summer collections of several designers, including Brian Bailey, Alfred Sung, Wayne Clarke, Clifford Michael and others, were provided by CACTUS, a designer store.

The models strolled through both levels of the restaurant, giving everyone a chance to chat and look at the styles and materials at close range.

About 300 women from across Canada viewed the collection.
