U.S. ROUNDUP — Silverspar acquires fluorite properties

Already active on a fluorite-silver project in Arizona, Silverspar Minerals (VSE) recently entered into an agreement-in-principle to acquire two fluorite properties elsewhere in the U.S.

Fluorite is the principal feedstock in the manufacture of a new family of “ozone-benign” non-chlorinated refrigerants, aerosols and blowing agents used in the production of polyurethane and related products.

Silverspar expects to complete negotiations shortly to acquire the Hildago prospect in southwest New Mexico, and the Sweetwater property in Tennessee. Terms will be released once final agreements have been prepared.
