U.S. Hall of Fame board

This is the board responsible for the election of honorees to the U.S. Mining Hall of Fame and also serves in an advisory capacity to its board of directors. The initial 25 honorees were named at its first annual induction ceremony last September in Denver.

This U.S. Hall of Fame is a federally chartered, non-profit corporation organized to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to mining in that country, and to disseminate information about the mining industry.

In 1986 a permanent headquarters was established in Leadville that now houses the Hall of Fame, a mining library, mining exhibits, offices and a conference centre.
