Tyranex tries again at Tyranite mine

A pair of juniors have joined forces to develop and mine the Tyranite orebody at Gowganda, Ont.

Under a 50-50 joint venture, Mill City Gold Mining (ASE) and Tyranex Gold (CDN) plan to drive further north on the 525-ft. level of the mine to investigate drill-indicated ore in the North lens.

The proposed program will include 5,000 ft. of underground drilling. Bulk samples will be taken from undeveloped ore near the main shaft and from the North lens.

From 1939 to 1942, the Tyranite mine produced 220,000 tons grading 0.18 oz. gold per ton.

Current reserves are estimated to be 567,000 tons grading 0.18 oz. gold..N13
