Tusk Minerals has acquired a 100% interest in a 61-claim gold property on Cape Breton Island, N.S. Located 18 miles south of Sydney in the French Road area, the property was last explored more than 30 years ago, Tusk says. This previous work included drilling and shaft sinking.
The work was testing surface showings of sulphides. However, no work has examined the gold showings on the claims nor the geochemical anomalies present.
A new issue on the Alberta Stock Exchange, Tusk plans to amalgamate with a private company, New Quebec Platinum Inc.
