Timmins hits

The company has been drilling deep holes designed to test the mineralized zone at depths below 2,000 ft. Hole 89-3 intersected 6.7 ft grading 5.28% nickel at a vertical depth of 2,600 ft.

The hole was drilled 300 ft east of T-11 which intersected 19.6 ft assaying 2.76% nickel. Another previously announced hole 200 ft below T-11 intersected 25 ft grading 1.01% nickel.

Mineable reserves of 351,171 tons grading 2.91% nickel have been defined to a depth of 800 ft. Mining is via a decline ramp. Timmins has a 51% interest in the project whereas BHP-Utah Mines holds the remaining 49% interest. The mine is expected to produce five million pounds of nickel this year.
