Swedish trade deleghates to visit Canadian mining communities

The trade group, headed by Swedish trade commissioner Staffan Englund, will visit Sudbury, Ont., Sept 11; Val d’Or, Que., Sept 13 and Timmins, Ont., Sept 15.

The companies represented are Morgardshammar AB Company, Sala International AB, Flygt Pumps, SKF Bearings, Alimak, Alfa-Laval and ABB ASEA Brown Boveri. They offer products ranging from rolling mill machinery to computers to raise climbers to electric trucks.

“Working with local officials in each city, we will be issuing invitations to people engaged in mining. Each visit will last an entire day and will involve guest speakers and presentations from representatives of the member Swedish companies,” said Englund.
