Dallas, Tex.-based Dresser Industries has acquired Pleuger Unterwasserpumpen G.m.b.H. Both companies have manufacturing plants in Canada. The Pleuger ** organization will be integrated with the worldwide Dresser Pump Division, which now manufactures Worthington and Pacific Pumps. The vibrating fluid bed principle permits drying and/or cooling in a single unit of materials that are difficult to fluidize and have a wide range of particle sizes and a tendency to cake.
