An engineering guide to the application of vibrating fluid bed dryers and coolers is provided in a new 6-page catalogue from the Jeffrey division of Dresser Industries, based in South Carolina. The vibrating fluid bed principle permits drying and/or cooling in a single unit of materials that are difficult to fluidize and have a wide range of particle sizes and a tendency to cake.
