SUPPLIERS NEWS ROUNDUP — Kvaerner named top engineer

Kvaerner has been named the world’s leading engineering firm in a list compiled by Engineering News-Record, a New York-based trade publication.

The $10-billion, London-based company topped the list, entitled “The Top 225 International Contractors,” based on its revenue, business diversity and geographical expanse. In July, the same publication named Kvaerner the leading design firm in the world.

Kvaerner operates in more than 100 countries, supplying engineering and construction services to the mineral, oil and gas, shipbuilding, and pulp and paper industries.
