Spirit Lake hole intersects 12 oz gold values across 10 ft

Hole 101 intersected 10.6 ft grading 11.57 oz gold per ton. The true width is estimated at six feet. The intersection yielded high grade gold values across each 1-ft interval.

Drilling has also outlined a continuous but narrow quartz vein at the base of a quartz porphyry. Results include 2 ft grading 0.09 oz gold per ton, 1 ft grading 0.11 oz and 1.5 ft assaying 1.34 oz. Other holes along the same section intersected 4 ft grading 0.92 oz, a 1-ft section of 3.87-oz material and 3 ft assaying 0.5 oz.

Several high-grade values across narrow widths were also encountered in two holes near hole 68, which yielded 29 ft grading 1.47 oz in previous drilling. Hole 100 cut multiple zones of 1.5 ft grading 0.24 oz, 1 ft assaying 0.61 oz, 1 ft grading 5.9 oz, 4.5 ft grading 0.75 oz and a 2-ft section grading 0.78 oz. Assays from the second hole are pending, Spirit Lake says.

The company’s new president is Dr John Hansuld, former president and founder of Canamax Resources. Canamax operates the Kremzar gold mine west of the Edwards gold property.
