Southwestern finds three zones in Peru

Junior Southwestern Gold (VSE) has outlined three new zones on three properties in southeastern Peru.

At the Tapairihua property, 140 km southwest of Cuzco, a 500-metre-long skarn zone has been outlined. It is at least 40 metres wide, and a 40-metre continuous rock chip sample across the skarn returned 2.7 grams gold per tonne.

Sampling at the Accha property, 50 km south of Cuzco, identified two lead-zinc replacement zones in limestone. The larger of these measures at least 300 metres in strike and 100 metres in width.

Continuous chip sampling across the strike of the zone returned up to 37.1% zinc and 5% lead across 20 metres..

At the Huancaylla concession, 70 km south of Cuzco, preliminary work has identified a porphyry containing disseminated, oxidized copper mineralization with anomalous gold.
