Quebec Crown corporation Soquem will fund 1,600 metres of drilling on a gold-diamond property in Nelligan Twp., Que.
The 185-claim property, near Le Tac, is jointly held by Ressources Orient (ME) and Gold Hawk Resources (ASE), from both of which Soquem is earning a half interest.
The drilling will be focused on a deformation and alteration zone on the eastern part of the property, which returned values of up to 4 grams gold per tonne.
Other targets include induced polarization anomalies near the deformation zone and three circular magnetic anomalies which might represent kimberlite pipes.
