Roxmark drills in Geraldton camp

Drilling has resumed at the Geraldton, Ont., gold property held jointly by Toronto-based Roxmark Mines (RMK-T) and the Canadian subsidiary of Cyprus Amax Minerals (CYM-N).

The 1997 program will span at least 2,000 metres. Cyprus has fulfilled its first year’s commitment of $500,000 and will continue to earn a 60% interest in the property by spending $2 million by 1999.

Elsewhere in the Geraldton camp, Roxmark will carry out definition drilling, development work and bulk sampling at its Northern Empire contact zone and Magnet mine.
