RJK Explorations (CDN) has acquired an option on the Brinklow gold property near Long Lac, Ont.
The property has numerous gold occurrences associated with quartz veins, and grab samples have assayed 0.1-2.4 oz. gold per ton.
Two areas of interest have been identified:
The first consists of quartz-veining coincident with a 1,000-metre geophysical anomaly which has a good magnetic correlation. Soil samples have also confirmed the presence of a 500-metre gold soil-geochemical anomaly. The second area is a 20-metre-wide, weakly mineralized gossan which extends over 300 metres. It contains gray-blue quartz veins and coincides with geophysical and geochemical anomalies.
RJK can acquire the property, subject to a 2% net smelter return, by paying $100,000 and issuing 100,000 shares over four years. The company intends to farm out half of the property to Greater Lenora Resources (TSE), which will pay half of the exploration and acquisition costs.
