Montreal-listed Radisson Mining Resources plans to drill three of its gold properties in northern Quebec later this winter.
At the O’Brien property, in Cadillac Twp., a 13,000-ft. program will test several zones, although the focus will be on the 36E zone, which contains a mineral inventory of 250,000 tons grading 0.31 oz. per ton.
Radisson can earn a half interest in the property from Breakwater Resources (TSE).
The Massicotte and Lac Gignac properties, situated in Massicotte Twp., cover a portion of the Detour deformation zone which hosts the Detour Lake mine. Previous drilling encountered a gold-bearing zone on the Massicotte property, whereas no drilling has been carried out on the Lac Gignac concession. About 8,000 ft. of drilling are planned for both projects this winter. In other news, Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE) plans to resume drilling on Radisson’s Duquesne and Lepine properties. Hemlo can earn a half interest in the two projects.
