Unfortunately, the news is not good concerning the current status of at least one company you inquire about. According to our records, Lingnora Gold Mines is now defunct and your shares in that company are of no value.

Lingnora was incorporated in May, 1945 and had been involved in the search for oil in Alberta, but initial failure left the company without funds. Lingnora became inactive after 1948, and its charter was cancelled in December , 1967.

The other shares you ask about are all junior or “penny stocks” which have undergone various reorganizations over the years. The only one that would appear to have any current value of is Pelangio- Larder.

Pelangio-Larder Mines is still active and can be found on the Canadian Over-the-Counter Automated Trading System (COATS). The bid-ask for that issue is 23-28 cents , and the company’s transfer agent is Central Trust in Toronto. Pelangio- Larder has at least seven mineral properties in various regions of northern Ontario. The company’s address is Suite 701, 220 Bay St., Toronto M5J 1P8.

Amalgamated Rare Earth Mines absorbed the assets of Consolidated Halo Uranium Mines in the late 1950s, and the latter company’s charter was cancelled in 1961. Amalgamated Rare Earth had been involved in uranium mining properties near Bancroft, Ont., in its early days, but the company went bankrupt in 1959, owing creditors around $200,000. Over the years, the company was reorganized and we have traced it up to a company called Golden Earth Resources trading on COATS. The company’s last address was Suite 420, 111 Richmond St, W., Toronto M5H 2G4.

According to our research, Cusco Mines is now Probe Mines, which is also listed on COATS. The shares have traded recently at around 10 cents . The company’s transfer agent is Central Trust in Toronto. Probe Mine’s address is Suite 2407, 401 Bay St., P.O. Box 35, Toronto M5H 2Y4.
