Queen’s MinEX hosting workshop

A workshop entitled “Structural Geology for Exploration and Mining Geologists” is planned for May 29-June 4 at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ont.

The course, sponsored by QMinEx, will review methods used to evaluate the structural settings and controls of deposits. The workshop will include field exercises and a visit to the Balmat lead-zinc mine in upstate New York. The cost of the workshop is $810 for QMinEx associates and $972 for non-associates (both prices include the goods and services tax). Accommodation costs are extra.
