Pioneer drills at Riou Lake

Drilling is under way at Pioneer Metals‘ (PSM-T) Riou Lake uranium project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

Six holes totalling 4,000 metres are planned, three of which will test an electromagnetic conductor beneath Riou Lake. The conductor is flanked by two zones of hydrothermal alteration. Additional targets will be chosen based on the results of a geophysical survey that is nearly complete.

Drilling is to end in early April.
