Oracle Ridge mine calls it quits

Operating losses at the Oracle Ridge underground copper mine in Arizona have prompted 70% owner Santa Catalina Mining (VSE) to shut down the operation.

Santa Catalina cited problems with crushing and milling operations as the principal reasons for the losses.

A buyer is being sought for the project.
