In Nova Scotia, Onitap is consolidating its land holdings in the Goldboro area. The company has the right to acquire 195 claims covering a large portion of the Upper Seal Harbour anticline, the same structure which hosts the Goldboro gold deposit sold by Onitap to Orex Exploration last year. The new properties display potential for hosting gold mineralization, similar to that occurring on the Goldboro property.
West of Halifax, the company is negotiating an option on 106 claims. Protecting a gold showing, the claims display good exploration potential, the company says.
