Canada Investment Capital (cic) has named Ernest Woodcare as president and chief executive officer of the explosives businesses it plans to acquire from the Du Pont Co. and Du Pont Canada. Woodcare has been directly involved in the management of Du Pont’s worldwide explosives businesses since 1985. Cic of Toronto has signed letters of intent to buy Du Pont’s commercial explosives business in the U.S. and the Canadian explosives business of Du Pont Canada.
