Two companies — MacDonald Mines Exploration (CDN) and the Cuban entity, Geominera S.A. — have joined forces to explore a property in east-central Cuba.
The 2,000-sq.-km concession, in Camaguey province, includes the Florencia gold mine which is undergoing a feasibility study.
The agreement allows for an additional 2,500 metres of drilling, to confirm reserves and test for new mineralization.
MacDonald holds a 49% interest.
